Michaels’ employees exercise good hygiene and infection control practices every day. This includes:
Health screenings are completed on all employees who are making site visits (starting two days prior to the visit and daily through the duration of the trip) as well as those who are working in the office. Employees complete an online survey each morning, which collects the following information:
The Director of Human Resources sends out the survey the night before each business day and weekends as needed. Employees are to complete the survey at home or first thing when they arrive in the office. Employees with symptoms will stay home or go home immediately. Human Resources reviews the screening data and follows up with employees who do not pass the screening. Employees are not allowed to perform the schedule site visit or work in the office if they do not pass the screening.
