I love working with utilities to develop innovative and effective solutions for their customers. The ever-changing nature of our energy landscape requires continuous invention and collaboration to ensure that we provide best-in-class services and products for customers.  It is truly an exciting time to be in our industry.

Steve joined Michaels Energy in January 2025 as Vice President of Business Development. His mission is to spread the word about the amazing solutions and results that Michaels Energy can deliver for utilities and their customers.

Steve has been working with electric, gas and water utilities of all sizes for over 25 years. His responsibilities have ranged from managing large complex business development organizations to performing as an individual contributor in small start-up ventures. Steve has a proven track record of dynamic results in executive leadership, business development, product development, strategic planning, marketing, operations and engineering.

Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire and an MBA from Northeastern University.

Outside of work, Steve loves spending time with his family, cooking, performing home improvement projects and boating (and, of course, celebrating the many Patriots and Celtics championships!)
