Stephanie Pederson, C.E.M.

Program Manager

I have been interested in energy efficiency, demand response, and renewable energy since I was a young person learning about energy and climate issues and wondering how I could help provide solutions. I found utility programs to be a great place to drive change and am excited to be able to help deliver quality programs throughout Minnesota with Michaels Energy.

Stephanie joined the Michaels Energy team in May of 2024. Previously, Stephanie worked at Xcel Energy as a product developer on the Clean Transportation team and spent most of her career at Dakota Electric Association in Energy Services representing small-medium sized commercial accounts, developing EV programs, and leading several unique “special projects”.

She has a business administration degree with a natural resource management minor from North Dakota State University and is a Certified Energy Manager®. She spent two summers as an intern for the MN Department of Commerce, Division of Energy Resources.

She enjoys spending time with her extended family located across Minnesota and collecting rocks, bugs and shells with her kids wherever they go. This year, she has been tackling her digital clutter by starting (and sometimes finishing) online photobooks.
