Sam Meyer
Program Manager
My experience with the Engineers Without Borders Club at UW-Madison taught me many things. Above all, it taught me that when people work together, hugely important impacts can be made. While working on a potable water distribution project in Zapote, Guatemala, I gained an even greater respect and understanding of the value of our world’s resources. That experience fueled my passion for all things surrounding resource management and energy efficiency, and ultimately lead me to pursue a career at Michaels Energy.
Sam joined the Michaels Energy team as an energy engineer in 2021. For several years, her focus was Strategic Energy Management. Now, Sam works as the Minnesota Program Manager.
In her free time, Sam enjoys going on long walks with her husband, meandering around her garden, and meeting up with friends to chat over a hot beverage.
