Fueling my passion for energy efficiency, I find joy in converting numbers into narratives, embracing sustainability through the art of calculating energy savings—a journey where each digit illuminates the path toward a greener, more efficient future.

Rasel joined Michaels Energy in December 2023 as an Engineer based in Charlotte, NC, where he embarks on a dynamic role conducting retro-commissioning studies and energy audits for customers.

After completing his Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering in Bangladesh, he gained experience working for a power generation and distribution organization. Subsequently, he graduated with his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His research is focused on fault detection and diagnosis of rooftop units.

Rasel loves to spend time with his family—wife, Firoza, and their two vibrant boys, Arham and Irham. They take pleasure in gardening a variety of leafy plants during the summertime.
