Meghan White, MPA

Program Manager

Going on a hike or a walk with me means being bombarded with random facts about the organisms around us, learning how to identify different kinds of plants and trees, and stopping to listen to bird calls frequently. If it’s fungi season, you can forget about a timely summit, as I will need to stop and check every downed log for some of my favorite slime molds. I have had a deep appreciation for the environment and all that it supports since I was a child and found a love for government work along the way. I am lucky to have found a career where I get to make a difference for people and the environment.

Meghan joined the Michaels team in January 2024. Her background in program, project, and product management across all levels of government makes her an integral part of the Product Team. Her efforts are focused on administering the Electrify Denver program with the Climate Action, Sustainability, and Resiliency team with the City and County of Denver. This entails establishing and managing relationships with internal and external partners, managing program budget, and working with our incredible engineers to help electrify commercial and multifamily buildings in the City and County of Denver.

Meghan got her Bachelors of Science in Wildlife Sciences from SUNY College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry with a focus in Environmental Law and Policy. She then earned her Master of Public Administration and graduate certificate in Environmental Law, Policy, and Management from CU Denver. Prior to joining the Michaels Energy team, she’s led programmatic and legislative efforts across the State of Colorado focusing in transportation, housing, homelessness, energy, the environment, and smart cities technologies.

Outside of work you can usually (try) to find Meghan out in the woods, on the slopes, or reading a good book.
