Lucas Crim
From college to the U.S. Navy to Michaels Energy, my passions have remained the same: working towards a sustainable future and helping others. Energy efficiency is all-encompassing and requires enduring relationships with clients and stakeholders. I’m grateful to spend each day bringing my experiences and skillsets to my role at Michaels Energy.
Lucas joined Michaels Energy in October 2023. He is an Engineer assigned to the Chicago team, supporting the Chicago Public Schools Carbon-Free Assessment Program and ComEd Custom Incentive Program.
Lucas graduated from Duke University with a degree in Environmental Science and Policy in 2016. Prior to joining the Michaels team, he served as a nuclear-trained submarine officer in the U.S. Navy based out of Pearl Harbor, HI. Following his initial nuclear training and time at sea, Lucas worked at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, IL, providing support in the training and indoctrination of all enlisted Sailors joining the Navy.
When not at work or underwater, Lucas can be found with his wife, Lexi, and their dogs, Avocado & Toast. He enjoys working out, hiking (preferably in Hawai’i), watching sports, and binge reading any book written by Malcolm Gladwell.
