Prior to joining Michael’s Energy in the spring of 2026, Kim worked in the unity/energy industry for more than 20 years. Her background includes natural gas infrastructure design, sales and marketing, business development and energy efficiency outreach as well as program design.

Kim attended Purdue University, earning a BA in Communications and an MBA from the Krannert School of Business. She is currently studying for the certified energy manager certification (CEM).

Kim is a Master Gardener intern in the state of Indiana. She plans on pursuing full Master Gardener status in the state of Virginia. In addition to gardening, she is a canner; preserving foods ranging from jams to pasta sauce. Kim is a dog mom to a 10 year old German Shepard rescue named Diva.
