Engineer

My whole career I’ve been passionate about helping customers get the most out of what they have.  Whether that’s helping them use their equipment more efficiently, or helping them create plans to reduce their carbon footprint, I have strived to help them meet their individual goals.

Jessica joined Michaels Energy in April 2025 as an Engineer to support te Dominion Energy programs in Virginia. She works on customer engagement and energy saving projects for utility rebate programs.  Prior to Michaels, she was a project manager and worked on developing proposals for energy-reducing and electrification projects for both government grants and real estate investment firms.  She also worked as an Energy Engineer and developed several retro-commissioning projects as well as chilled water plant optimization projects. 

She has extensive experience with Siemens building automation systems, as well as building automation controls.  Her experience in deciphering and analyzing trend data allows her to develop insights into customer building systems.

She holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and she is a Certified Energy Manager.  She also is an Engineer In Training (EIT) in the State of Virginia.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys cooking gourmet meals and crocheting various projects.  She lives with her two cats in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
