Evan Henry
Associate Engineer
During my time in college, I became passionate about energy, where it comes from, how the technology has advanced, and how we use it. I wanted to pursue a career in the energy field with a focus on energy sustainability to make a positive impact on the world. I’m grateful to have found Michaels which I believe is a perfect fit.
Evan joined Michaels Energy in January 2024 to primarily work on the Demand Response program in Minnesota. He recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering. Additionally, while at Madison, Evan earned a certificate in Engineering in Energy Sustainability. Evan completed a co-op and internship in research and design with Pyran before graduation, a company focused on making important chemicals from renewable sources instead of oil.
While Evan wasn’t doing classwork, he joined numerous club and intramural sports, including track, racquetball, volleyball, teqball, basketball, and innertube water polo. He was an original member of the new founded disc golf club which qualified and traveled to the Colligate Disc Golf National Championship in North Carolina in 2023.
Evan spends most of his free time trying to be outdoors in nature, whether it’s running, hiking, or the disc golf course. When he can’t be outside, he enjoys reading, cooking, and thinking about disc golf.
