Eliza Grady, LEED GA

Program Manager

I chose to work in the energy efficiency field because it contributes to a healthier future for people and the planet. On a local level, I believe installing energy efficiency measures improves the day-to-day quality of life of the community members who inhabit and the buildings themselves. It is through this improvement that we ensure an environmentally healthier future is possible and that all communities have access to it.

Eliza joined the Michaels team in August 2023. She brings her experience in community organizing, energy efficiency consulting with k-12 schools, public sector participants and federal grant management to programs in Chicago, Illinois. This entails managing client relations and providing a seamless experience of energy efficiency and decarbonization consulting for k-12 customers.

Eliza graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Prior to joining Michaels, Eliza managed a lead in water mitigation program at Elevate Energy in partnership with the City of Chicago and the United States Environmental Protection Agency. When Eliza lived in San Antonio, Texas she managed the k-12 and public sector energy efficiency rebate program with CLEAResult.

Outside of work, Eliza stays true to her liberal art roots and enjoys writing, sewing, attending live music and art gallery shows. She and her cat Bonnet live in Humboldt Park, Chicago.
