I am pleased to tell people that I work in energy efficiency because effective and transparent use of resources speaks to my values and being able to effectively understand and meet the needs of clients seeking to optimize their operations or better serve communities is a skill that I’m proud of. 

Celeste joined the Michaels team in August 2026. They bring experience in grants and business development experience unique to the energy efficiency industry. With a track record of successful and highly collaborative proposal writing, she is focused on growing business and winning bids. 

Celeste graduated from Indiana University in 2021 and 2023, first with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and then with a Masters of Public Affairs in Nonprofit Management and Community and Economic Development. Previously, Celeste worked at the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance. Celeste also holds certifications in Project Management and Managing Diverse Teams.  

In their free time, Celeste can be found reading or napping in a hammock, trying a new hobby, crafting with friends or rearranging the kitchen cabinets.
