I’m excited to be in the field because traditionally in doing design, my skill set has been served to help boost revenue. On a larger scale, I may have been swayed that a greater impact would be made in a different career, for instance becoming a nurse or doctor. While my skill set may still be serving the same business organizational purpose, the super cool part is the greater impact that my efforts are having on making our planet a better place.

I joined Michaels Energy November 2023 as a Graphic Artist. Prior to this role I served a variety of clients through consulting under my own business. I attended Minnesota State University Mankato as well as Winona State University, where I obtained my Bachelors in Art Education. Shifting gears a bit, I attended Madison Media Institute to obtain my Associates Degree in Digital Art and Design. I’ve spent time in a wide range of industries from mobile and web application to farming, to organic milling, to also serving smaller entrepreneurs under my business Pineapple Creative. I started the business with this name because I fell in love with the slogan ~ Stand Tall ~ Wear a Crown ~ and Always Be Sweet on The Inside. This is truly what I want for any of the companies I serve to feel about their marketing and branding.

I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors, which includes my husband, bonus daughter, and son. I enjoy staying active or taking time to be still in a yoga class, time with friends, and anything involving putting my creative or artistic abilities to the test.
