Engineer

I grew up with a deep connection to the outdoors. As a kid, I spent countless days from dawn until dusk exploring the forests and beaches. I always knew I wanted a career focused on sustainability, and after earning my degree in Mechanical Engineering, that passion naturally led me to Energy Efficiency Engineering.

Amelia joined Michaels in July of 2026. She is an Energy Engineer, where she enjoys helping building owners optimize the performance and efficiency of their mechanical systems.

She graduated from the Colorado School of Mines in 2022 and has been working in the energy efficiency world ever since. Her experience includes building performance compliance, benchmarking data verification, ASHRAE Level II energy audits, and energy management.

Outside of work, Amelia enjoys spending time outdoors with her fiancé, Tyson, and their two dogs. Whether she’s backpacking in the mountains, competing in triathlons, golfing, or snowboarding, she’s always looking for her next outdoor adventure.
