Adam Valmoro

Project Developer

A wise refrigeration engineer once told me, “There is nothing more efficient than off.” While true, this may not be practical at times. So, finding those alternative solutions is a worthy pursuit.

Adam joined Michaels Energy in March of 2024, focused on developing thermal energy storage C&I projects within the cold chain industry. This incorporates business development activity and educating the market on the benefits of thermal energy storage, as well as coordinating commercial activity leading to project implementation and technology adoption.
Adam graduated from the University of Rhode Island and has worked in several commercial roles with start-up and early growth companies commercializing and bringing new technology to the cold chain logistics and temperature management industries. This included developing and managing several utility demonstration projects and assisting clients in participating in state GHG reduction incentive programs.
Outside of work, when not working on their home renovation project, you can typically find him with his wife Leah and Goldendoodle Otto somewhere along the coast and beaches of Northern California.
