Brianna Edenburn
Associate Engineer
My passion for endangered species and Earth-related fun facts introduced me to the concept of environmentalism at a young age. Kindled by a love for science and problem-solving, I became an engineer to improve the relationship between people and ecosystems. I believe that the transition away from fossil fuels is an existential necessity and I desire to advance energy equity alongside people who are just as driven by the “why” behind their work!
Brianna joined the Michaels Energy team in the summer of 2025, first as an intern before returning full-time as an Associate Engineer. Brianna primarily supports the delivery of decarbonization programs for K-12 public schools and custom energy-efficiency incentives. Day-to-day, she completes site visits, crunches numbers, and translates her insights into reports.
Brianna graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering and an adjunct major in Environmental Policy. Before her time at Michaels Energy, she gained her footing by completing sustainability assessments for a manufacturing company. A true environmental engineer at heart, Brianna approaches her work with systems thinking, an appreciation of public infrastructure, and a deep respect for Earth’s resources, both human and natural.
In her free time, Brianna enjoys live music and all things crafty. You’re likely to find her on a long walk or hammocking with a good book.
