I would like to leave this earth better than I found it for my sons. A profession in energy efficiency allows you to make a difference and allows for immediate results.

Marc somewhat fell into energy efficiency by accident. As a new father and a seasoned bartender for over 20 years, Marc was looking to pivot his career. Marc became particularly interested in heavy equipment and industrial pumps, focusing on the efficiency and mechanics behind these systems. From there, Marc has been fascinated with innovation and data-driven results.

Marc hopped over to Honeywell and immediately started managing the Compressed Air program. Marc began working with Stephen Bonney and Justin Deckert of the Michaels Energy team. Upon the success of the Small Manufacturing Program, Marc was awarded the newly piloted Data Center Program, allowing him to continue working hand in hand with the Michaels Energy team member, Jonny Kendrick. Directly partnering with the Michaels Energy team for two of the most successful programs really allowed Marc to see firsthand the culture and support the Michaels team exemplifies.

Marc officially completed his first week at Michaels Energy as an Account Manager of Dominion Energy’s New Construction Program and will continue to support the Compressed Air program as well as the Data Center program.
In addition to his successful career, Marc recently re-enrolled at the University of Maryland and completed 39 credit hours. This allowed Marc to officially earn his associate’s degree in general studies and graduate in December 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in science. In 2026, Marc looks forward to getting a PMP certification.
Marc has been married to his wife, Lindsey, for 15+ years, and has two sons, Cannon and Killian, who are 5 and 7. When he’s not at baseball practice or soccer practice with his boys, he likes to go on day trips. Day trips include museum visits, shark tooth hunting, spelunking, and going to parks.
