Associate Engineer

Energy has always been an interest of mine because it makes everything function. Without energy, we are not able to move. I chose a career in the energy efficiency field to learn how to make the most out of energy and help people use it efficiently.

Wesam joined the Michaels team in January 2024 as an Associate Engineer. He works mostly on energy audits and custom rebates, although he is involved in studies and other projects. As part of Wesam’s role at Michaels Energy, he travels frequently, which allows him to interact with customers regularly and get a better understanding of their needs.

In 2023, Wesam graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Before Joining the Michaels team, he was a Mechanical Engineering Intern at NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes, where he gained experience working in a highly regulated field.

When he is not at work, Wesam enjoys watching and playing sports, running, and spending time with family and friends.
