Mike Flockhart serves as the Associate Director of the Customer Support Center at Michaels Energy, where he brings more than two decades of leadership experience in operations, customer experience, and learning and development. Known for his strong commitment to integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement, Mike plays a critical role in enhancing service delivery and team performance to support Michaels Energy’s mission of advancing energy efficiency solutions.
Before joining Michaels Energy, Mike held several leadership roles at Transamerica, where he spent over a decade developing and guiding learning strategies for retirement operations and customer service teams. His work consistently focused on building high-performing, customer-focused cultures through coaching, process optimization, and impactful training programs.
Mike’s approach is grounded in a passion for empowering others, fostering innovation, and creating practical solutions that elevate both customer and employee experiences. He believes that investing in people and process is the key to driving sustainable results.
Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, Nicole, and their two daughters, Mikayla and Lexi. He’s an avid sports fan and enjoys golfing and playing cornhole with friends and family—though he readily admits he’s more passionate than proficient at either.
