I’ve always been passionate about nature. Working in the energy industry – specifically energy efficiency – allows me to do something beneficial for our environment while tapping into my own obsession with efficiency, reducing waste, and continuous improvement.

Prior to joining Michaels Energy in 2024, Crystal worked in the energy industry for over a decade, with over half of her experience for public utilities.

She graduated from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota with a Bachelor of Environmental Science in 2014. An avid learner, she has read many books, completed online courses, dabbled with grad school, and most recently completed a Micro-Certification in Strategic Product Management.

On the weekends, you can find Crystal curled up with a good book snuggling her fur children in front of a fire or listening to live music with her husband at a local brewery.
