I grew up with the family creating the mindset of respecting nature and leaving it a better place. Now, I’m working to create pathways to save our resources, which seemed like the next logical step.

Katherine joined Michaels Energy in 2025. She has spent most of her previous career teaching overseas until 2020, when Katherine moved back home and changed paths into data entry/customer care with TransAmerica.

Katherine studied at Kirkwood Community College in Iowa, focusing on performance /liberal arts. She transferred to the University of Northern Iowa, where she graduated with an Elementary Education degree, focusing on Teaching English as a Second Language. Katherine enjoys travel, gardening, felting, and other crafts, as well as a good book.
