In 2017, Michaels Energy's ChooseWell program available to all employees earned the Well Workplace Small Business Award by the Wellness Council of America of North America (WELCOA). WELCOA developed the Well Workplace Awards Small Business initiative as an important addition to the already existing Well Workplace Awards process. The Small Business initiative provides employers in organizations with 50 or fewer employees an opportunity to compete for national recognition.
