Michaels Engineering teams with Itron to provide evaluation of California Utility Programs

La Crosse, WI – December 28, 2007 – Michaels Engineering has once again successfully teamed with Itron to evaluate large commercial and industrial energy efficiency programs in California. Michaels, as a subcontractor to Itron, will provide impact evaluation to the California Public Utilities Commission for the Southern California Industrial and Agricultural Program and the Pacific Gas and Electric Fabrication, Process and Manufacturing programs.

This project involves a multi-year evaluation of these two programs as part of a $55 million statewide evaluation of utility programs.

As part of the evaluation team, Michaels will be involved with:

  • Evaluating custom analyses provided by project developers.
  • Evaluating calculation models provided by the state for project development.
  • Field verification and data acquisition.
  • Data analysis calculation adjustment and report writing.

Michaels Engineering has previously teamed with Itron on large projects in the state of California. We look forward to working with Itron once again, as well as the CPUC, Southern California Edison, and Pacific Gas and Electric.
