Michaels Engineering teams with Focus on Energy for New Construction Program

La Crosse, WI – September 24, 2007 – Wisconsin’s Focus on Energy selected Michaels Engineering to provide technical assistance for their New Construction Program.

The Focus on Energy New Construction Program Provides:

  • Free expert assistance for building owners
  • Detailed building simulations to determine energy savings for various measures
  • Incentives for design firms to offset costs for developing efficient alternatives
  • Incentives for owners for the construction

Michaels has performed technical design assistance engineering services for dozens of new construction projects. Michaels’ approach for design assistance is to identify the major energy needs for complex facilities, develop design concepts and evaluate innovative solutions, and design or help design these energy efficient breakthroughs.
