Michaels Energy Named a 2013 Hot Firm

La Crosse, WI – August 15, 2013 – Michaels Energy was named a “Hot Firm” on The Zweig Letter Hot Firm List for the second year in a row.

The Zweig Letter 2013 Hot Firm List recognizes the 100 fastest-growing architecture, engineering, planning and environmental consulting firms in the United States and Canada – an industry of over 100,000 firms. These firms have outperformed the economy and competitors to become leaders in their chosen fields.

“We’re pleased to have received this award for the second year in a row,” said Michaels President, Dave Waffenschmidt.  “Our strategy of exceptional client service and superior technical expertise continues to fuel our growth in the niche markets we’ve targeted.”

Rankings for the Hot Firm List are based on a survey of firms conducted by ZweigWhite.  Placement on the list is based on a firm’s percentage revenue growth and dollar revenue growth over a three-year period compared to the other entrants.

“Our reputation for technical expertise, program impact evaluation, and developing track record of programs for under served markets with deep, lasting energy savings, has created strong momentum to maintain growth rates while providing quality our clients depend on and expect,” said company Vice President, Jeff Ihnen.
